VOCAL ARTS

The Vocal Arts class is designed to provide a basis for developing comprehensive musicianship within the choral rehearsal through a sequenced study of vocal technique, music theory, music reading skills, and performance. Students will further enhance their musical skills with instruction on the piano.

Student Expectations
Students will participate in a positive and responsible manner; respectful of others and of items in the class. In addition to singing, playing instruments, and other musical activities, students are required to keep a journal of listening and various classroom activities, and complete all assigned paperwork and projects. Students will participate in individual as well as group activities, and contribute significantly to the success of the vocal program.
