	The Banneker-Douglass Museum, named for Benjamin Banneker and Frederick Douglass, is dedicated to preserving Maryland’s African American heritage, and serves as the state’s official repository of African American material culture. The museum annually sponsors and hosts a variety of preservation, arts, and cultural lectures, workshops, performances, and other programs.
	Ballet Theatre of Maryland’s mission is to provide Maryland with a fully professional ballet company and training academy that meets the aesthetic and recreational needs of Maryland through expressive movement.
	Artwalk is a community public art project bringing grand scale art to the walls of exterior buildings using the city of Annapolis itself as an open air gallery. The purpose of Annapolis the Beautiful, Inc., a non-profit corporation doing business as Artwalk is to add beauty and interest to our historic community. Artwalk hopes to expose a diverse and broad population of residents and visitors alike to public art outside the normal venues of museums and art galleries within Anne Arundel County and currently the city of Annapolis MD.
	The mission of the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County, Inc. is to encourage and invest in the visual arts, performing arts, and historic preservation for the people of our county.
	The mission of Annapolis Opera is to present artistically excellent professional opera productions, educational programs and other opera-related events, featuring emerging artists to the Annapolis region.
	AEMS Alliance’s mission is to build support for high-quality, systemic arts education—dance, music, theatre and visual arts—for all Maryland schoolchildren.

	The mission of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra is to produce, present and promote memorable symphonic music that increases awareness, enjoyment, and appreciation of music for all ages throughout the region.
	SOTA is the premiere contemporary art gallery in the city of Annapolis.  The gallery exhibits the work of talented artists from throughout the Eastern United States. SOTA’s gallery hosts a variety of events including openings, socials, special exhibitions, and live performances.
